Danielle Hawkins- Nature and Narnia

C.S. Lewis beautifully captures the essence of what I think a glimpse of creation in its fullest glory is supposed to look like. From The Magician's Nephew he beautifully paints a picture of Narnia and surrounding lands coming to life. In the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,  we see how life thaws it self and breaks it self away from the grasp of the evil one. In the Horse and His Boy we see what the original Eden and Arcadia is like. In Prince Caspian we see how the love of technology destroys our relationship with nature and our ability to dwell with it and how it destroys the home.  In Voyage of the Dawn Treader we see a glimpse of the restoration of life and hope is restored of the coming days of restoration and fullness of life. In the Silver Chair and The Last Battle,  we see the full destruction of and exploitation of nature when it is put in the wrong hands. And finally at the end of the Last Battle, we see the full restoration of man with nature and all of creation is restored to its original glory to run towards and with Aslan.
